Septemberrrr !

Happy new month guys !

Summer is officially over (well if we judge by the weather in London, summer was done a long time ago)

So I have recently ordered my 17 month diary getting ready to conquer the last quarter 2017. What do you think ?
Kate Spade - £26
from John Lewis

In the fashion it's considered a new year as SS18

Autumn = layering aka aint nobody watching how I look therefore let the eating begin
Back to school
And I just want to welcome the new attitude for the remainder of the 4 months of the year.

On my latest video, I talk about planning / planners and journaling alongside making sure your :

South London terminology: 'shots have met the targets you set at the beginning of 2017'

Translation: let's win in 2017!

What will you be doing to make sure you leave 2017 with greatness ?

I have a few videos coming out this week, a little unusual from the 1 per fortnight but I do hope you enjoy ^_^

Where oh where oh ....

Where has Livvyy been ? - Well, let me first start by congratulating certain bloggers who can keep up with uni assignments and work ! I truly don't know how they keep up with it. Over the past two and a half months, I realised that I just had to put my hands up and call for a tea break because I could not handle these assignments, two jobs and keep up my blogging activities without sleep, those press days over in November were absolutely stunning; but 24 hours isn't enough time for me nowadays lol.

However, taking this little break from the blogsphere world had lead me to a new found love, discovered by force (the program we were trained to use during our 1st term assignment), Adobe Premier Pro. You'd think a break up with the 'love of your life' for 4+years would keep you up all night, try planning a video shoot to suit a certain criteria (damn you strict uni assignment) as well as begging numerous amount of friends to act in it ( my christmas list is wayyy to large this year) and editing it! My Lord ! Twas fun (: SO much so, I encourage any creative to get their hands on their camera and occasionally switch to the film mode and do something! Editing makes me feel so powerful, I truly feel like by creating a moving image, I control what the viewer feels - majorly cool ^_^.

Definitely worth a shot ! Here's some of the stuff I've been up to per the pass two months or so. Hope you enjoy!

From top left to right : Toilet pictures ! Just had to check myself out ! Black becomes my colour during deadline season, and some of my favs at the amazing Lewis and Leigh press day in Novemeber
From bottom left to right : Snow PR press day, a snippet of my fav pieces, can't wait for the summer leather and dream accessories to drop on store shelves ! The deadline day, gotta love LCF lime grove toilets ! perfect for ootd photos hehee

Thinking Pink !

Love the month of October, the ending of fashion month and the start of the academic term of my second year at university. It's my nan's birthday month lol ^_^, as well as an increase to the awareness of breast cancer. With shops and magazines gearing to highlight their more 'feminine' products with a deal like 15% going towards the organisation etc. Some may say that is not ethical, I simply say, it's advertising .

Regardless, I love the colour pink anyway, up until last year December, it was the colour of my room for at least 8 years (different shades, obviously)!  However, wearing a statement piece which happened to be a solid form of pink was never something that came across my mind during a shop along the high street (or online), for some weird reason, pink always remained as an accessory colour; be-it my nails, the colour of my Miss Dior perfume, the crystals embedded in my vintage perfume bottle, my iPhone/blackberry cases, book/macbook covers , sock etc (you get the gist of it). But the high street has many to offer ! Hopefully during this month a series of all these flushes of pink rose will arise on Miss Olivia-Zara, for those that don't enjoy this certain colour, apologises in advance !

OOTD || RED .

First OOTD for 2013 ! Whippieee!

Jeans ~ Zara | Ballet Pumps ~ Topshop | Blazer ~ Zara | Ruffled Pussybow Shirt~ Ralph Lauren | Brooch~ Dior (Vintage)

After doing many errands this morning, I visited the most talked about exhibition right now (well since November) Valentino: Master of Couture at Somerset House.
The last 'fashion based' exhibition I had gone to see was at the V&A museum (Ballgowns) and I was deeply upset by the layout, composition and order of the exhibition and Valentino's was completely different ! This exhibition invited you to look up close and see the craftsmanship of every design.
It was a fun experience and having Clara come along made it even better due to the fact that she could explain (in more depth) the type of skill used etc etc.
Anyone who is a fan of the one and only master of couture , should definitely pop by one afternoon  with a friend (actually, try early morning or later near to the closing time if you are the type of person that doesn't like crowds. Every hour session attracts many viewers) . It's only £9 with your student card ^_^.

This couch had to be included in the post, it wsa really comfy - had us sitting there for a good 20 minutes lol
Happy New Year by the way

LBJ [Photo Diary]

What I got up to on the weekend ^_^ ...

I had originally planned to visit the exhibition soon after it was opened to the public but due to university responsibilities and other changes in life ... had to postpone until Sunday (can you imagine  I have not really had any time to relax and visit galleries since I came back from New York?!)  The exhibition as a whole was simply divine, not only were there subjects from the fashion industry but also familiar personalities from the music industry, theatre  and other form of arts. Here are only some of what I took on my iPhone ... my camera died *cries*.

What was also lovely was they handed out free posters of a few from the actual collection ... I was given the  edgy Georgia May Jagger ( you can see what it looks like here). Overall, it was a lovely Sunday afternoon in on Kings Road ... different (because I was not there to shop, attend a meeting or chill out with friends lol) but fun ^_^

The Life Of A LCF Summer School Student !!!!

Yurp, this is how it all started ....
... on the 10th of June, I enter my home to pick up the normal mail for mummy, not noticing the 1ST CLASS letter with my name on it .... from LCF .... OMG done my lil two-step (hurt my foot, called my mum and went crazy loool)

I GOT INTO LCF SUMMER SCHOOL!
 - and before I forget, I would love to thank my home girl Clara-Louise *mwah*

Then the countdown started, and I would say that the nerves kicked in (you know, like what to wear , how to act , what to expect)

then before you know it .... the day came !!!

11th July, woke up at 7, got ready and listened to choice fm, headed out w/ my toast and hot chocolate to east-dulwich train station to wait for my journey to start. Before i knew it, i was in Shepherd Bush tube station, walking to lime grove and tweeting at the same time, thinking about how excited i was to start my new week. And guess what pops up on twitter afterwards?!

LCFLondon TWEETED ME !!!
^_^ (I'm a top nerd btw- sorry, I was excited dude)

So my first day was all about fashion media, we had a lil ice breaker , found out some interesting facts about the people i would be spending my week with. I even found out that there were 2 other students from my college AND i had never seen them before ... quiet funny actually ... after lunch we were introduced to 'news and feature writing'

I wont bore you with the content of the whole week, just the really exciting parts ;)
  • On Wednesday, we had our on-screen interviews ... My group was w/ crazy people named Jasmine, Anthony, Ernela and Rianah. Soon after that was finished, we went to westfield shopping centre to interview people about a rumour which we had heard about topshop opening a tattoo parlour in their flagship store. My group got kicked out unfortunately loool, but it was still fun :D
  • On Thursday we went into the computer suite and got to use MAC's :D. The day felt like living the life of a journalist in the office and meeting deadlines.... I managed it and enjoyed it at the same time :)
I would love to show the world the whole video BUT, as it is set to private on vimeo, i recorded just a lil extract of what my group had done in the on-screen video. I do apologise for the poor quality.

From left to right - Ernela, Jasmine (the GREAT) Rianah and Anthony
And then before you knew it !!!! The Week came to an end :'(

After our certificates

Words & Pictures Class of 2011

My fellow Ernela ;)

And the Start Of A NEW Stalking Relationship at college
Get ready to feast your eyes on this !!
Thanks to Michelle , Josephine , Anthony, Andy, Declan and Kate and the other members of LCF that made this experience GREAT for everyone ^_^
