Recent Purchases: Update part 2

Carrying on from earlier this morning ... this post is just about another batch of items which I've have recently purchased from Topshop and New Look (the top was a gift from family in US)

Dipped Hem White Top -Topshop and
White belted day dress-New Look (Sale)
This top from Topshop also comes in black, grey, khaki and navy blue (well, those were what I saw in Oxford Circus). It's included in the offer 'buy 2 for £10' so 10-10%? = Bargain ! You could wear this with so many things, like tucked in a skater skirt (or not, put a belt round it and accessorize), pair shorts a tuck parts of the top in it etc etc
Here is how the dress looks out ... there is also a cut out at the back (a little cut out .. nothing major). I purchased the dress from the Marble Arch store for £8 .. was really surprised to find a lot of them in there. I fell in love with this because
A) The color (i just love white)
B) The style of the dress- this could be worn during the day with a pair of ballet flats, sandals (if the British weather allows us to enjoy a least 2 weeks of solid sunshine), or if you can; a pair of wedges. Pair this with a lovely oversized straw bag/ a bright (or bold) colored bag (such as a jade green/royal blue/ burnt orange/red) or a shoulder bag .

If (just like me) you can't wear this at the present moment due to the weather in your area but are going on holiday during the Olympics then WOOHOO! The material and style of this dress is just right for a sunny and hot vacation to wherever ! And you could wear it during the day and also at night

Return of the Backpack

A backpack at Alexander Wang
Alexander Wang
Who remembers sporting backpacks to secondary school many years ago ? (It only lasted a year for me sadly, after many attempts of travelling to school with a backpack made out of cheap material - which my school MADE me wear, my mother put a stop and bought another school bag ... BUT BACK to the point -)

Well, history is now repeating itself and you do have the chance to sport it AGAIN (three cheers !!). For SS12, backpacks are flooding the catwalks as a key feature in the dominating 'sport luxe' trend.

So in this post, I will show you what the high street has to help us rock the backpack AND the rucksack. (remember the backpack is, what i would say, something used on a daily basis ... a bag that can hold a few items for the day ... but if your like me and just do BIG BAGS then the rucksack is more likely to be what your after)

So 1st ... we hit New Look
Exclusive Duffle Backpack
£19.99 (exclusive to flagship stores)

If you see yourself channelling the rivera chic, pair this with a breton shirt ;)

Up next ... Topshop !! Topshop gives you many choices from material to fabric and accessories that are attached to the bag ... Sorry guys, but there is more than one choice.

You can wear all of the above with many colours that are popping out this season from the pastels palettes .

Finally ... River Island... If your the type of person looking for THAT PRINT ... river island MAY JUST BE FOR YOU .... BUT ladies ... don't just settle in the women section, because the men's section has got some STUFF worth looking at; but i'll break it down though.

Women Section
Blue Aztec Rucksack (£30)

Men's Section
