Primark : Bags to Riches !!!!

If your wondering what on earth I am talking about then read on :

Today, the popular retail chain that is known as 'Primarni' (Primark) has opened a concession in Selfridges’ located in the Bullring in Birmingham, with another outpost opening in the group’s Trafford Centre store in Manchester on 19 November.

Quote : ‘We are proud to offer our customers an outstanding selection of desirable brands, from high-street to luxury,’ Jeff Johnson, general manager at Selfridges Trafford, said in a statement. ‘Primark is one of the high street brands we have added to our fashion selection with a special edit of their most exciting menswear.’

I think this is rather a good idea for the concession to be in Selfridges because its not like the consumers for Selfridges don't buy from Primark (and the other way); and its not the first time that Selfridges have added high street retail stores in theirs (H&M is the recent concession to be opened in London Selfridges). So why not have the Primark range sit alongside Selfridges designer label brands such as Hermes and Alexander McQueen?  Plus it will show others that the unique collaboration further strengthens Primark’s proposition on the UK high street and will stop people degrading their products.

A Primark spokesman says: “We are pleased to confirm that Primark and Selfridges, the world’s leading department store, are coming together in a partnership where the iconic store will host an edited selection of menswear products.

Unfortunately, there are currently no plans for Selfridges’ flagship store on London’s Oxford Street to offer Primark wares, or for the partnership to extend to womenswear. 

BINTM Live : Day 3

 Hello Everyone !

Today, I went along to BINTM Live with my friend Shamel. As it was our first time going to the event, we decided to go VIP Style and I have say, I'M GLAD WE DID, our goodie bags were filled with love and cute little items every girl need in her possession ;).

We arrived at the venue in ExCeL at around 11:00 am and as our fashion was not until 14:00, we had a chance to look around all the shops, check out the kiss open show and chill out in the VIP lounge . Here are some photos i want to share with you all from today :

Today has been VERY eventful, i must say, (including waking up at 6 am to get to ExCeL for 11, and leaving at 16:00) but we both enjoyed it and for all of you that didn't come, just make sure your there next year. The stalls were amazing and many items were selling at affordable prices like my friends wedged boots, and I bought a green jacket (will show you that soon) at a good price as well.

It was a lovely experience and I'm DEFINITELY there next year, hope to see you all there as well ;)

Open Day ... @LCF

So yeah, Clara and I attended the LCF open day @ Lime Grove (in Shepherds Bush) and as today was a sunny day, with few clouds in the sky and I had a camera, why not take pictures of my beauty (Clara , not me - LOL)

Versace for H&M Ad

So we've heard the great announcement about the collaboration of Versace and H&M and what key pieces will be in it.

We also have a chance to take part in a competition for the collection

Now its time to look at the creations :D

         

 

 

 
 
  

 

My favourite piece from the collection has to be the gold studded leather dress (from left to right, the 3rd picture) because it is one true definition of Versace. Like when I think about Versace, and actually see that dress, I'm like BOOM ... YES ! (Sorry, I'm just a tad crazy right about now).
Don't think that Donatella has made this gorgeous collection without accessories to go with it as well ! If you look closely to the pictures (especially the 7th ) you see that every item is most definitely stamped with the life of the Versace brand with a H&M vibe
